Any creature may leave a herb in its pile – a regular one 2.5% of the time, an elite 7.5% of the time, a boss 50% of the time and a champion every time – and 20% of the herbs are this one. None comes from a creature 8 or more levels below you or from a lair boss; the hero who picks the pile up eats it there and then.
