Favored sources:
General loot chances; your class and level can change these chances.
Ashen equipment (Tier 4 · Ashen Mines): any creature of the tier can drop it – regular 5%, elite 20%, boss 50%, rare or better. The piece takes the creature's level – 20 to 30 in the world; the grade is rolled on the kill, and 55% of drops are picked for the killer's class. Moonhorn, the daily lair boss, rolls lower: a piece at your level 50% of the kills – uncommon 45%, rare 50%, epic 5% – and a set piece 5% of the time.
Hunt in Ashen Mines, Sootwater Flats, Ashfall Rise, Greyspire Crags, Ironback Peaks.
Reward of Ore for the forge (Mage only).
Crafted by the smith for 3600 gold from Goblin Trinket ×12, Mine Crystal ×4 – rare or better, at your level up to 30. See crafting.
Salvage
Broken down at the smith into Goblin Trinket ×1 and, 10% of the time, Mine Crystal ×1. Higher grades yield more.
