Where to get it
Starfall equipment (Tier 1 · Starfall Landing): any creature of the tier can drop it – regular 5%, elite 20%, boss 50%, rare or better. The piece takes the creature's level – 1 to 10 in the world; the grade is rolled on the kill, and 55% of drops are picked for the killer's class. Moonhorn, the daily lair boss, rolls lower: a piece at your level 50% of the kills – uncommon 45%, rare 50%, epic 5% – and a set piece 5% of the time.
Hunt in Starfall Landing, Blackpine Woods, Blackpine Deep, Pinefoot Meadows, Greyfield Downs, Frostmeadow Vale, Gloamfield Moor, Greyspire Crags, Ironback Peaks, Smoulderhorn, Ravenmoor Tors.
Crafted by the smith for 420 gold from Spider Silk ×6, Dark Essence ×2 – rare or better, at your level up to 5. See crafting.
Salvage
Broken down at the smith into Spider Silk ×2 and, 25% of the time, Dark Essence ×1. Higher grades yield more.
