“The road north crosses the Ridgeback through a gate of two tusks. Ugrash's archers sit on the scarp above it and shoot down. Nobody from the fort has been north of it in a month.”
“Six archers and the gate is a gate again. Come at them from the scarp's flank, not up the road.”
