Quest · level 99
Ashkarath, the Nightmare Dragon
Ashkarath nests in the Broken Crown, the ruined summit of the titans' palace, among the bones of the last titan king and the gold of his city. Her fire burns violet at the edges, and the smoke that rolls out of the crown's cracks carries nightmares down the plateau. Climb the Crown Stair and end her.

Champion Varric says
“She came when the city fell - or the city fell when she came; the stones do not say which. She sleeps in the Broken Crown on the gold of a titan king, with his bones for a bed and his crown knocked from his head at her feet. When she dreams, the smoke comes out of the cracks and we dream with her.”
“Seven of us came here to end her. You have seen what is left of the seven. Climb the Crown Stair, walk into the crown, and end the Nightmare Dragon - and then, champion, you can rest.”
